Senior goodbye: Marissa Cappiello

Marissa Cappiello

Dear Archbishop Carroll community,

These four years have passed by fast. It feels like it wasn’t that long ago that I first did that summer program to get ready for freshman year. There’s been some highs and lows, but I am very grateful for the time that I’ve had here. I have met so many wonderful people here that I know I’ll continue to be close with long after high school.

I’ve made a lot of fun memories during my time here. All of the shows that I’ve been a part of have been a blast to perform, yes including the Fall Festival we did. The amount of events I’ve been able to do through the choir were such a great experience. The stories that I have from here are too many to count, from the jokes made backstage, to the indoor waterslide. I won’t forget any of it.

To the underclassmen reading this, my best advice is to get involved in afterschool activities. I know it’s something you’ve heard a lot, but it is honestly a great way to get to know the people here and make good memories. Also remember that you can ask for help from the teachers and faculty. They are there to help you and will make sure you can get what you need to succeed.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me throughout my time here. This school has helped me be a lot more open and confident in myself. I will always be grateful for that.
