Throughout my time spent here, I was able to create memories that will last a lifetime. When I came to Carroll I was a little fish in the pod, but the community engulfed me and allowed me to expand past my comfort zone. Meeting new people, making great relationships, all things that gave me the strength to be social all while having fun. The community here will be something that I truly miss the most of all aside from athletics, and the select teachers that I find are the best.

My time here truly did go by faster than I thought it would. It’s said that high school is the fastest four years of your life, and that “it goes by in a blink of an eye,” which is so true.

Carroll to me will be missed very much for the Carroll memories — Carroll memories as in what makes the school the school.

It is with great appreciation that I thank Archbishop Carroll for giving me the education, the outstanding help with an extra push, and also for developing me into the person I am today. There is so much more to thank you for, and all that you have done for me, especially for helping me with drawing closer to my faith, with strengthening my relationship with God. Your faith and relationship with God are important here. I used to be the type of person who strayed away, but going to such a passionate Catholic school allowed me to view it differently, sharing with others who felt the same before, and now we have better relationships with God, sharing our faith. There’s one thing Father Spez would say, “ We don’t talk the talk. We walk the walk.”

A Carroll education is truly one of a kind. I know for the rest of my days I will never forget that place high on the hilltop and over the glen, dear to my heart, Archbishop Carroll, forever. It is with love, gratitude, and appreciation, that I say a very sincere thank you,Carroll.
