Class of 2021 senior goodbye

My four years at Archbishop Carroll has been an amazing experience. I’m very thankful for all my friends, teachers, coaches, and teammates who have been with me throughout these years. The countless relationships I’ve made at Carroll are very valuable to me and I couldn’t imagine experiencing high school anywhere else.

Carroll provided me with a fun, encouraging, and inclusive community that helped me grow as a person and student. The memories I made at Carroll will stick with me forever, I will miss a lot of things about this school and the people in it. However, I’m certain that I’ve been given all the tools to be successful in my next step in life.

It feels like freshman year just happened, but, as they say, “time flies when you’re having fun.” There was never a boring day at Carroll, which made it so easy to come to school and have a positive attitude towards the school day.

I want to thank my parents and siblings for helping me get through these demanding four years. There were a lot of challenging tests, projects and AP exams, but I was prepared for everything that came my way. I want to thank the teachers who really cared about every student and wanted to see them be successful and reach their full potential. Having a teacher who put in just as much if not more work into the class than the students made it impossible for me to not work my hardest. All of these factors have helped me earn college credits, high standardized test scores, and achieve a higher level of confidence in my abilities.

These four years have set me up on a path that I can’t wait to follow. I couldn’t be more excited for what is to come and I know I’m built for whatever obstacles that may come. Roll Pats and Go Gamecocks!
