Class of 2021 senior goodbye

Matt+Evans

Carroll had given me so many amazing opportunities. It gave me the opportunity to meet so many more people and be grateful for the opportunities I have been given. Carroll is a place that I will forever call home.

Coming to Carroll was one of the best decisions I have ever made. If I did not choose Carroll, I never would have met Nick, Caleb, Garrett or any of my other friends. The bonds that I have created here will last a lifetime. We have made so many memories here together. Whether it be goofing off in class, cheering on our football team, or getting together outside of school, it is always a good time.

The teachers here at Carroll also made my experience here a great time. Mrs. Gimpel’s class was always my favorite. We read the best books and watched movies this year and it made my time here memorable. I will miss Mrs. Gimpel calling us bums when we wouldn’t do our work or when we would be in bed during our Zooms.

This year was hard with COVID, but it really made me be more grateful for the things that I have. Not coming to school with all of my friends every day is something I will miss. I miss having the cafeteria full at lunchtime and having assemblies, but those are the memories I will never forget.

Carroll has so many things to offer for each and every student and I hope that each student in the grades behind me and the grades to come will have the same experience. Once a Patriot, always a Patriot. Archbishop Carroll forever.

Overall, I will miss Carroll and all the many opportunities it has presented me with and I wish the incoming and future classes the best.
