Senior goodbye: Destiny Hill
June 9, 2022
Dear Mom and Dad: Thank you both for always believing in me and doing everything in your power to make me happy. You’ve both done everything that you could possibly do to put me on a path to be successful. Thank you both for always being there for me and supporting me in everything that I do. I’m extremely grateful to have such amazing parents and that’s something that I would never take for granted. I also want to give a huge thank you to my brother bustah for being my best friend and someone I can always count on and come to if need be.
Thank you to all of my teachers for providing me with the education that I’ve received and being the amazing faculty that you are. I want to personally thank Mrs. Carpenter for always being patient with me & having a smile on her face. Thank you, Carroll, for the lessons and experiences that you’ve given me. Thank you for helping me grow into the wonderful person that I am today. I’m very excited for what the future holds.
My advice to all upcoming seniors is to stay focused, but also enjoy yourself. You only get one senior year so cherish it. It’s great to have a good balance between school work and things going on outside of school, try to not procrastinate. Try to step outside of your comfort zone and connect with people and genuinely have a good time.
Sincerely, Destiny Hill
