Senior goodbye: Molly Devennney

Molly Devenney

Dear Archbishop Carroll School as a whole,

I could not thank the Carroll community enough for shaping me into the young woman I am today. I have grown to be a better person over these last four years, not only physically but also mentally. The Carroll community is something you don’t find often. We grow together in faith, hope, and love. Being a part of a community that is so welcoming and loving is truly a blessing.

These past 4 years have allowed me to meet new people, some of whom have grown to be my best friends. Coming into Carroll was scary. It was a whole new environment that I would have to adapt to. Knowing that I did not know anyone was difficult, but I came in with a open mind, hoping to meet new people. Every single person who I have come to know throughout these years will always hold a special place in my heart. I have formed friendships that I believe, will last a life-time.

The staff here at Carroll is unforgettable. Juggling 7 classes at once can sometimes be a lot to handle, but the teachers are always looking out for you and making time to help you achieve success. Whether it be priests, presidents, principals, or teachers, I can proudly say each one of you have helped me get to this point of my highs chool career.

Leaving Carroll will certainly be hard, but I am excited to embark on this new journey in my life. I am honored to have been a part of the Carroll community, but it doesn’t end here. I will always show my Carroll pride, whether I am coming to weekend sport events or coming to watch ACTS perform plays. Carroll will always hold a special place in my heart and I will forever be thankful to have gotten the opportunity to be a part of this amazing community. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you Carroll.

Sincerely,

Molly Devenney
