Dear Archbishop Carroll,

My past two years here as a Carroll student have been a wild ride. Between navigating myself through a global pandemic or figuring out how I’m going to pass the math test I didn’t study for, Carroll has allowed me to make some unforgettable memories that many wish to get out of their high school experience. No matter if it was on the soccer field, on the tennis court, or in the classroom, I have been able to create bonds with my teammates and peers that allowed me to grow and blossom as a person. All of the teachers and coaches I have also met during my time here have given me a profound appreciation for the roles that each of them play in our lives. They have pushed me to unlock my fullest potential and allowed me to realize I can do anything I put my mind to with a little hard work and determination.

Both my family and friends have been there for me whenever I needed them most. My family has always been there to help me manage the stress, anxiety, and all the other emotions that come with school. They have helped me learn lessons that don’t often take place in the classroom that have allowed me to become a better student, friend, and person. My friends have allowed me to appreciate all the little things in life and to not take it so serious sometimes. They have been a part of my life during some of my greatest memories and there when I needed them most. I truly am blessed to have some of the greatest family and friends anybody could wish for.

As one chapter of my life comes to an end and a new one begins, I want to thank everyone who has molded me into the person I am today. As many of us go our separate ways it is important to say that without all of you I would not be the person I am today. Thank you for teaching me what it truly means to be a good person, friend, and peer. Thank you Carroll!
