Senior goodbye: Aniyah Bishop

Dear Parents,

It’s crazy how fast time went by but I’m proud to say I finally completed five years of high school. I know it hurts to see me grow up and slowly become an adult but I just wanted to say thank you for making me into the young woman I am today and thank you for always being there and supporting my dreams/goals. You guys watched me grow up and you were there to see me take on every challenge I encountered and overcome it.

I am grateful for you, Dad, because you taught me to always keep fighting and to never worry about the next person and what they got going on. You taught me you can always accomplish anything even when people are praying on your downfall and don’t want to see you shine. You taught me how to go about certain situations and how to see stuff from a different perspective and I really appreciate and love you, Dad. Also, I’m proud of you and what you’ve been doing so keep it up.

Mom, I know sometimes I may give you a hard time and all but I really do love you even though I have a hard time showing it but I just want you to know that I’m thankful for you and for you showing me how to be a woman with good morals and respect. You taught me how to properly handle myself and to always be kind. You taught me to find peace in every little thing I do and to look at things in a positive way.

I’m happy to say graduation is next month and I’ll finally be throwing my cap in the air and getting my diploma. One chapter of the book is almost over and it’s time for a new one to start in August. I’m going to miss you guys when I’m at college but I’m also happy that I accomplished so much and you guys were there to witness it all, so, with that being said, thank you and I love you guys infinitely.
