Senior goodbye: Gianni Russell
June 8, 2023
Dear Archbishop Carroll School,
Thank you, Archbishop John Carroll High School. Carroll as a whole school is a very amazing school and it has amazing teachers and administrators. Carroll has a couple of things that it can change to make the school even better. One is the food choices for the students. Two is the classes that the school provides for the students. Overall, Archbishop John Carroll has taught me a lot. I have built relationships with so many of the students and staff.
Carroll could change the food, allowing students to have different options of food each day or just one day of the week. The chicken nuggets and fries are good, but not all that to be paying almost $6 for. There should be more healthier options other than salad and wraps because not every one wants a semi-warm wrap or a dry salad because they only give us students 1-2 salad dressings. The senior students have been eating the same things for the last four years and I believe that it is time for change for the underclassmen.
The students at Archbishop John Carroll should have courses that will help their education, such as culinary classes to further culinary paths, blood drawing classes for nursing majors, and dance classes for dance majors. The school is all about furthering education for students’ later paths, so the upcoming students should have different courses so they can plan their futures while still in high school getting their education. The school should have more college programs instead of just LaSalle and Cabrini for students. For me, the LaSalle classes prepared me for college so much.
Sincerely,
Gianni Russell
