Senior goodbye: Catherine Crossan

Dear Archbishop Carroll,

When I came to Archbishop Carroll, I would have never imagined the impact it would have had on my life. Throughout the last four years, I have made some of the best friends and memories while being here. It was hard to realize how fast my time here was going until I was near the end of it, and it is hard to believe in just a few short weeks I will be walking across the stage graduating.

Archbishop Carroll has one of the most supportive environments. Both the students and teachers are kind, caring, and helpful in any way they can be. After spending four years getting to know many teachers, faculty, and students, I feel like I have formed many bonds here at Archbishop Carroll. I will be sad to move on from all these amazing people, but I know that I can always stay in touch and come back to visit! One of the people from Archbishop Carroll I appreciate the most is Father Mark. This year I was able to take his class and go on Kairos in the winter. These experiences have taught me more about my faith and helped me be closer to God.

One of my favorite memories from Archbishop Carroll is my engineering class. We were the first class in the Project Lead the Way program at Carroll, so pretty much everything we have done over the last four years was new to us, and Mr. Cummings who has been the teacher of the class all four years. Being with the same people for all four years has allowed me to grow pretty close with a lot of the other students in the class. In addition to being fun, this class was also helpful with learning about different types of engineering and helping my public speaking and presentation skills.

I am so grateful for my time at Archbishop Carroll and I hope that I stay connected to the school and the community for long after I graduate.

Catherine Crossan
