Dear Archbishop Carroll,
I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity to attend this school. I get to leave with so many memories and good friendships that I will remember and cherish forever. Some of my favorite memories here are mostly my sophomore year because all together it was one of the best years I had. Sophomore year was when I met a lot of the people I am friends with now and I always had a good time with them. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Ramos because she always took time to teach me and help me understand the concept that she was teaching because I couldn’t understand it that well. Sadly, since Mrs Ramos left, my new favorite teacher is Mrs. Amlin because I feel that she is an amazing teacher and the first math class where I can actually understand what is being taught.
Dear Carroll Football and Friends,
I am so appreciative to have been put on such an amazing team with some of the most amazing friends. I have so many memories that I will never forget, like winning our first football game last year. The feeling we all had was immaculate and I loved when my team and the students all ran onto the field together and were jumping up and down and having a good celebration. Some of my other favorite memories were when we all slept at the school going into my junior year. We all had a great time together besides the uncomfy sleeping. My last favorite memory was all the practices we had together because I would get to see and talk to my friends and all together we would always just have a good time.
Some advice I have for the juniors becoming seniors would be to make sure your college applications are done early so that you won’t have to stress about it at all during the school year. Senior year also goes by very fast so make the memories and make your last high school year fun and worth it. Even though it is your senior year you still wanna put in your best effort and to not slack off even though it may be very tempting to do that.
Sincerely,
Kevin Knox
