Dear Carroll and future Carroll students,
As I approach the end of my senior year, I reflect on the journey I have experienced within the halls of Archbishop Carroll. I want to extend my gratitude for the invaluable education, support, and memories you have given me over the past year and a half. Although my time here was short, it will always be remembered. Thank you for the dedicated teachers who have inspired and challenged me, and for giving me friendships that will last a lifetime. I am truly grateful for the opportunities and experiences I’ve had here. Thank you for shaping me into the person I am today and preparing me for the next chapter of my life. I will carry with me the lessons I learned and the memories I made at Archbishop Carroll for the rest of my life.
My favorite memory here at Carroll was being a part of the girls basketball team. The friendships and memories I made from being a part of that program will be unforgettable. Playing at the Palestra my senior year was something I will never forget, although losing the championship was not a fond memory. Playing the sport I have always loved in front of 10,000 people with my best friends is a memory I will remember for the rest of my life. The values and lessons I have learned from playing girls basketball at Archbishop Carroll will last me a lifetime.
The advice I would give to future Carroll students is not to take anything for granted and to do the most with your time here at Carroll. Play a sport, join a club, or do something that you love that other people love as well. Get involved in the school and make as many friends as you can. Do not take any day for granted because it flies by fast. My time here at Carroll has been short but I would not trade it for the world and I hope you love it as much as I did.
Sincerely,
Felicity McFillin
