Dear Carroll,
You’ve been somewhat of a second home to me for the past four years, showing me nothing but hospitality and love since September of 2020. I’ve met and made lifelong friends amongst staff, teachers, and students. The interactive nature of this school makes it hard for you not to create bonds with one another. Things such as retreats, sports and even Mass share a unity that embraces us all. That’s what makes Carroll unique; it has the type of culture that allows all types of students to grow and discover what person they aspire to be. Carroll has done wonders for me and I’m sure it will continue to do for students after me.
Speaking of the students that come after me, I want to give you a farewell. Though our path may divide soon, the memories we’ve shared and the bonds we formed will only be dear to me. I see you guys as my younger siblings. As big bro, I have to tell you: Cherish every moment, seize every opportunity, and never underestimate the power of perseverance. As you continue to navigate the halls of Carroll, know that your potential knows no bounds. Embrace challenges, embrace growth, and above all, embrace each other. For it is the unity of spirit that propels us forward, shaping the future with every step we take. Farewell, underclassmen, and may your paths be illuminated by the light of knowledge.
I also want to give thanks to all the teachers I’ve had. I am filled with a great sense of gratitude for the impact you have had on my life. Your dedication, wisdom, and unwavering support have shaped me into the person I am today. Each lecture taught, each word of encouragement spoken, has left an indelible mark on my journey of learning and growth. As I elevate and step into the unknown, I carry with me the invaluable lessons you have imparted and the memories we’ve shared. Thank you for your guidance, your patience, and your belief in me. Farewell, dear teachers, and may your classrooms always be filled with the joy of discovery and the wonder of knowledge.
