Dear Archbishop Carroll,
Thank you for giving me an amazing high school experience. For the past three years of my life, I have been lucky enough to attend Archbishop John Carroll High School. Carroll has allowed me to make friends that I will have for life, challenge myself academically, and grow stronger in my faith. The community at Carroll is truly unlike any other. The students, teachers, and staff are what make this place so special. Attending Archbishop Carroll has been one of the most influential and best decisions I have made in my life and I am forever grateful to have gone to school here.
I went to Holy Child School at Rosemont from kindergarten until 8th grade. When the time came for me to choose where I was going to attend high school, I decided I would go to Radnor. One short year there, and I knew it was not the place for me. However, I wasn’t sure where else I could go to school. After conversations with my parents and visits to many schools, I decided I would go to Archbishop Carroll. When I started my sophomore year at Carroll, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t know anyone who went there but that didn’t seem to matter. When I showed up for my first day, I knew I was going to be happy here. While it took a little for me to feel comfortable at Carroll and make friends, I am confident when I say there is nowhere else I would have rather gone to school.
The friends I have made at Carroll are some that I will keep for my whole life. This school and community have allowed me to become the best version of myself. This school has taught me how to have a relationship with God, how to make friends, how to work hard academically, and so much more. Carroll has many amazing experiences to offer, including Kairos. Kairos was truly special to me and my class. It allows the senior class to grow closer to one another, and God. I truly cannot say enough good things about Archbishop Carroll. This school has been so great to me and will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Sincerely,
Brady Conlon
