Dear Archbishop Carroll,
My past four years of attending this school have finally ended. The year of 2024 has always felt so far away in my head. It is crazy to think that it is finally here. My classmates and I are about to walk across the stage and say our last goodbyes. High school is going to be a memory — a memory that we can never go back to again. Spending four years with people creates unbreakable bonds. It is sad to think about never seeing some of my class ever again. Carroll allowed me to have the high school experience I have always wanted.
Underclassman, believe me when I tell you high school flies by. Take it all in and enjoy every moment. Also, get involved with different clubs and activities. Being a part of different groups will make your high school experience much better and enjoyable. This time period is going to contain some of the best years of your life. I would do anything to relive my high school career.
I truly believe that Carroll has shaped me into the person I am today. I was undecided where I was going to go to high school. Deciding to attend Carroll was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The friendships I have gained from this school will last a lifetime. The teachers have also had a huge impact on my life. I can move to college prepared because of their teaching ways. These people have supported me through the start and I could not have done it without them.
One of my favorite memories of high school was homecoming week. Homecoming week is a week with dress down days, pep rallies, football games, and the homecoming dance. It was one of my favorite memories because everyone in Carroll showed their Carroll pride. It made me excited to go to school each day. Every year I have looked forward to homecoming week. Another great memory I was blessed with was going on Kairos. Kairos is a retreat for the senior class to grow closer to God and their classmates. I had an amazing experience and I encourage the underclassman to go.
