Dear Mom,
As my senior year of high school ends, thank you. You raised me like all of the other parents wanted their children to behave and act towards others. Thank you for guiding me through my first day of pre-school to my last semester of high school. I know that I was a pain in the butt from pre-school until high school, but you were still always there for me. I cannot find the words to express how much I really appreciate everything you do for me.
As I move to the next chapter of my life in Mississippi to follow my dreams, I want you to know that I’ll always be a phone call away. Don’t worry about me too much. I promise to make it to all of my classes and keep up with my assignments. I understand it’s going to be hard for you because I’m the youngest, but remember, you always have Izzy! I know it’s different, but I’ll return before you know it.
You have watched my life unfold through my happiest moments and when I thought the world was going to end. Our bond is unmatched compared to everyone else’s. As I move forward on my own, I want you to know that no matter where life takes me, you will always be the first person I call if I need help with anything in college. Thank you again, Mom.
Love you forever and always,
Reilly McMenamin
