Dear Archbishop Carroll,
Thank you for what you guys have helped me do. This school has helped shape me into the man that I have become today. Although I had my reservations about the school when I first came here, Carroll was not my first choice in terms of schools. I have learned to love school and realize all the great things that it has helped me achieve. Carroll has helped me expand on those foundation blocks that were built at home and helped me build something that I can be proud of.
When I came to Archbishop Carroll, I quite literally knew nothing. I was a young kid with all the dreams in the world but no idea how to achieve them. Carroll has shown me all the great things that I can achieve if I just focus and put my mind to it. Carroll has allowed me to flourish into the person that I am today. All the amazing people that I have met here have shown me what it is like to have friends. The faculty has catered to me as I grew up here. And although I know that I am not the most responsible kid, I am much better than when I first came here.
The faculty is something that makes Carroll, and without those notable teachers, Carroll would be nothing. People like Mr. Cummings, Mrs. Gimple, Mrs. Owens, and Mrs. Cahill are teachers that students remember from school. Every school has teachers, but it’s about those special teachers who feel like they almost go the extra mile to make school feel like a better place to be. And all the teachers at Archbishop Carroll are amazing. Those are just a few of the teachers that I can notably remember. Those are just a few of the teachers that I feel have changed my life for the better.
Sincerely, Jared Mendoza
