Dear teachers,
I am very thankful for the education all of you have given me. I am grateful to be a student of such excellent teachers. All you have taught me will stay with me for the rest of my life. You have shown me that you care about my education and the education of my classmates by going above and beyond when teaching. Not only are you passionate about what you teach, but also about making sure your students succeed.
Mrs. Gimpel always tries to engage her students with humor and emphasizes our lessons. Because of her enthusiasm for teaching, I became enthusiastic about learning. Learning about Hamlet in her class was the most interesting because she made it easy to understand its early modern English. Mrs. Gimpel also wants us to develop good habits, so she’s strict regarding turning in assignments on time. Although this caused me lots of stress, it has helped me become more organized and manage my time better, and I am very thankful for that.
I also deeply appreciate my art teachers, Miss Didaniele and Mrs. Carpenter. They didn’t just teach me art; they nurtured my creativity. Their guidance and encouragement allowed me to create some of my most cherished art pieces in their classes. Their recommendation letters paved the way for me to achieve my dream of being accepted into the University of the Arts. I will never forget the constant support they offered me.
My theology teacher, Mr. Erdosy, has also supported my creativity. He encourages me to follow my artistic dreams and to share my talent with others. I appreciate all that my teachers have done for me. Their education has enlightened me, and their love for teaching has given me a passion for learning. I thank my teachers for everything.
Sincerely- Marissa Rivera
