Dear Carroll,
Thank you Archbishop John Carroll High School. This school has filled me with so much gratitude. I am eternally grateful for being able to attend Carroll these past four years. Carroll will always have a special place in my heart. My parents are the people who deserve the biggest thank you. They have sacrificed so much to be able to send me to Carroll and I am extremely thankful for that.
My all time favorite Carroll memory would have to be kairos. That experience was indescribable and it was probably one of the best experiences of my life. My other favorite Carroll memory would have to be getting to go to Florida and compete with the 2023-2024 Carroll cheerleading team. We got to go to the pool and parks together. We would also hangout in each other’s rooms and just talk for hours. I will forever cherish the bond that the 2023-2024 Carroll cheerleading team has. I loved how we would pray together as a team right before we stepped onto the mat. Everytime we had practice we would always make sure to have a good time and we would also work extremely hard so that we could showcase our abilities.
If I had to give advice to the juniors and underclassmen, it would have to be to live in the moment. You have to make the most of your time here at Carroll because you only have four years here. If I were you I would give myself the opportunity to go out and make those memories. So go try out for the sports team, join the clubs and make tons of friends. The friends that you make here at Carroll are lifelong friends and they are always there for you whenever you need them. Another piece of advice would have to be to make connections with your teachers. You may not think that you need them but in reality you do and they can help you out in the long run.
Sincerely,
Carley DiCrecchio
