Dear Carroll,
I want to start this letter by thanking all my teachers, administrators, and coaches who helped me make it through Carroll and give me a good high school experience. I might not have had the ideal freshman year with half the school going in on different days and having to wear masks, but since freshman year I’ve enjoyed my time and all the memories I’ve made. I’ve met some new people through the years and got closer to people I already knew as well as some teachers and administrators I grew a friendship with. Some teachers and administrators I’m going to miss are Mr. Quintos, Mr. Cavara, Mrs. Carpenter (art), Mrs. Cahill, and Mrs. Gimpel, who I would like to wish a happy retirement to. I’ve had some great memories with these teachers in class whether it was them yelling at us for messing around or just cracking jokes and talking to them in class.
We might not have had an enjoyable baseball season this year, but this is where I met some of my closest friends or got closer with people I already knew. My favorite game this year was when we won against Roman in extra innings because I had a couple friends on the team, so it was nice to get the win even though it was our only win. I also enjoyed playing against Haverford High School and The Prep because I pitched really well despite the loss. I am going to miss going out to the amazing turf field we have outback but hopefully I will get to play in college.
And finally I would like to thank all my friends that I met through my 4 years, whether they don’t go to the school anymore, transferred in or were here all 4 years. My favorite year was junior year because I started to step out and hang out and talk to other people. I also became closer with people I already knew because I did that. I am really grateful for what Carroll has brought into my life and will never forget it.
