Dear Archbishop Carroll,
Firstly, thank you to my parents for putting me in an environment where I’ve been able to learn lifelasting skills and surpass limits previously set for myself. Thank you for all the amazing teachers and friends who’ve not only mentored me, but also shaped me into the young man I am today. Over these past four years I’ve met some astounding people and built bonds that go beyond a simple friendship, but have turned into a brotherhood that I will cherish forever.
Next, thank you to all the coaches and teams I’ve been blessed to be a part of, for instilling strength both physically and mentally, that will give me the confidence and fortitude to succeed in whatever path I choose to follow in life. Through the highs and many lows that came with being a part of a Carroll sports team, my teammates made those moments some of the best of my life. There couldn’t have been a better group of guys to spend the past four years of my life with, and I genuinely wish nothing but the best for every one of them.
Lastly, thank you to all of my teachers for everything you have done to support my classmates and I. Thank you for all of the work you do that goes unnoticed by us students; just know your work is genuinely appreciated. Over these four years, because of the teachers at Carroll I’ve learned lessons beyond textbooks that have made a true impact on my life.
