Dear Archbishop Carroll,
As I sit to write this letter, I am filled with a bittersweet mixture of emotions. It is hard to believe that my four years here are officially over. Carroll is not just a place of education but more of a home away from home. As much as I am thrilled to continue to my next chapter, I will miss this school and all the memories I have made here. Without my family, friends, teachers, and administrators, I would not be who I am. This school has shaped me into the person I am today, helping me grow as an individual and strive to better myself every day.
First and foremost, I would like to thank my family for the unconditional support and love you have given me. I certainly would not be where I am today without you. Thank you for being there every step of the way and showing me I can do whatever I put my mind to. I am forever grateful and can not put into words how much I appreciate everything you have done for me. As I look ahead to my future, I know that whatever challenges come my way, I will always have the love and support of my family to guide me through it.
Secondly, I would like to thank my friends for the unforgettable memories we shared along the way. They often say friends are the family you choose, and high school has made me realize that once you find your people, you will know. Carroll has blessed me with those incredible people who surround me each day. Our time together has gone so fast, but each and every moment was never taken for granted. As we all go our separate ways, you guys will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will never forget our high school experience together.
Lastly, I would like to thank the teachers and administrators for making these four years memorable. Your encouragement and guidance have prepared me for the next chapter. Each of you has impacted me in growing and becoming more confident in my schoolwork and myself. You have been inspiring role models to turn and look up to even beyond the classroom. Thank you for making Carroll feel like my second home and welcoming me from day one. Your commitment to your student’s success is admirable and will never go unnoticed. I am grateful for your time and effort in my education. Your work will always be remembered.
Sincerely,
Ella Volpe
