Dear Archbishop John Carroll High School,
I would like to start this letter off by saying thank you to all of the opportunities you have given me to become a better person. Whether it was through clubs, sports, activities, etc, I felt that each contributed to my success. I loved getting to meet new people and being able to become friends with as many people as possible. For me personally, it was very easy to be able to become familiar with close to everyone in my class. Because of my compassion and friendliness towards others, I started to earn respect in return. I was glad to see that others were noticing the way I acted towards others. I believe my actions said a lot about who I was. My classmates, along with the faculty and staff as well, were able to truly see me grow as a person during my four years here at Carroll.
Despite the hybrid learning my freshman year due to Covid, I was still able to see this school as a second home to me. Although I may have been one of the latest students to show up to school each day, I felt that I was also the last person to leave. It has been fairly easy for me to find somewhere to chill out after school over the years. You could catch me hanging out with my friends at a sports game, or even in one of the faculty member’s offices chatting it away. While it was easy for others to leave school right away, it was the complete opposite for me.
Leaving a place you love is difficult, which is why it will be very sad for me at graduation. I will never regret my decision of going to Archbishop Carroll since it will forever leave a mark on me. I will miss this school dearly and all the memories that have been made. I will make sure to hold on to every lesson and piece of advice I learned here forever. Thank you Carroll for everything, and keep on continuing to be “The Place to Be!”
Sincerely,
James Klusarits
