Although elected during the last school year, Archbishop Carroll’s student council was inducted recently following Mass during this school year.
The executive board went first. Each member received a bronze student council pin and a blessing from school chaplain Father McCaffrey.
Here are the members and their positions:
President: Maddie Freeman
Vice President: Ella Peticca
Secretary: Grace Duffy
Treasurer: Ryan Innes
Public Relations Manager: Vickie Lehatto
“I feel truly honored and excited to be a newly inducted member of the Student Council,” Lehatto said. “It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to represent my classmates and contribute to making Carroll an even better place to be.”
The executive board members were elected by a schoolwide election. The rest of the members of Student Council were elected by grade. Among them is senior class officer Christopher Dellaratta, who has been on Student Council since the beginning of last year.
“I’m looking forward to bringing our class together through fun events and making sure everyone feels involved and proud of what we accomplished this year,” he said.
These students also received a blessing from Father McCaffrey and pins and they stated their pledges in front of the student body.
