Kaitlyn Maggio: Senior memory

Kaitlyn Maggio

At the end of my freshman year of high school, I decided to transfer to Archbishop Carroll the next year. That decision ended up being one of the best decisions of my life. At Carroll I gained so many close relationships with students, teachers, and just everyone there. I met so many new great people that changed my life. My new friends were all so welcoming and always made Carroll feel like home.

When I first transferred, I never felt out of place and everyone was so nice to me, making it an easy adjustment. Also, coming to Carroll made me gain back many of my friendships from grade school. I was friends again with all my old friends, making it even better and easier for me to transfer. I became closer with my best friends and had such a better life after I had transferred.

It was such a great decision and I did not regret it for a second after I had started school sophomore year. Carroll felt like home and I am so happy that I got the opportunity to transfer there my sophomore year. I changed my life for ever and will allow me to have great people and great friends with me for the rest of my life.
