The Archbishop Carroll varsity wrestling team took down the George School 60-12 during Wednesday´s senior night. Seniors Kyle Conlen, Kyle Comstock, and Andrew Ingles pulled off a clean sweep with three straight pins, propelling the Pats to their 10th win of the season.

Heading into the match, head coach Brian Carter spoke about his team’s aspirations.

¨Ÿea, really excited for them, obviously,” Coach Carter said.  “It´s awesome to really watch them all grow and continue to get better each year. I just wanna see them out there having fun tonight above all else.¨

Have fun they did. Seniors Conlen, Ingles, and Comstock started the night in order, pinning three straight George School opponents and giving the Pats an early 42-6 lead.

Soon after, junior Stephen Finley and sophomore Cole Conlen were awarded pins in their matches, ultimately making it 60-12 Carroll, and ending the night on a high note.

Thirty of the Pats’ 60 points were awarded through forfeit. The George School’s 12 points were awarded via forfeit as well.

The Pats will now look forward to the Philadelphia Catholic League playoffs two weeks from now.
