Archbishop Carroll’s girls lacrosse team celebrated their 11 seniors in their game against St. Hubert’s.

All seniors added at least one goal to the score.

“It’s fun being able to get to score because normally we’re down on defense and don’t get the opportunity,” said senior defender Ella Wright.

While the seniors were celebrated for all they contributed to the team over the last four years, seniors Ava Bleckley and Bridget Robinson were also recognized for their accomplishments.

Senior captain Ava Bleckley scored her 100th goal and senior captain and goalie Robinson was celebrated for her 200th save.

“It’s a big accomplishment that I’m happy I was able to reach,” said Ava Bleckley. “I really didn’t think I was close to my 100 at all so it was a nice surprise.”

The seniors were given gifts and written speeches from the underclassmen.

“It’s going to be a lot different next year,” said junior Sarah Wood. “I’ve spent a majority of my high school career with them so I’m really going to miss them.”
