Dear Alumni and Friends of Archbishop Carroll,
Archbishop John Carroll High School is proud to announce that it will begin construction on a state-of-the-art multi-purpose turf field, a transformative milestone made possible through the generosity of more than 100 alumni, parents, and friends of the Carroll community.
The new facility will be named Mother Cabrini Field, honoring Saint Frances Cabrini’s inspiring legacy of faith, courage, and unwavering commitment to serving children and families of every background. Her spirit of mission and compassion will live on at the heart of Carroll’s campus and shape the experiences of students for generations to come.
Mother Cabrini Field will become a vibrant hub of Patriot life — hosting football, flag football, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, strength and conditioning programs, physical education, Fitness for Life classes, and a wide range of student activities. It will provide Carroll students with the opportunity to compete and gather in a premier on-campus space designed to energize school spirit, deepen community bonds,
and elevate the student experience.
This field represents far more than a new athletic facility. It is a powerful expression of who we are and who we are becoming. Mother Cabrini Field will be a true home for Patriot Pride. It will be a place where our students will compete, celebrate, and grow together, surrounded by classmates, alumni, and families.
Mother Cabrini Field is one of several recent facilities investments strengthening Carroll’s campus and commitment to the whole student. In September, the school opened the Connelly Wellness Center, a dedicated space designed to support students and families through an integrated network of care reflecting Carroll’s mission to nurture students academically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
The timeline for the turf field is for construction to begin this spring. However, as we work through the weather and the specific dates, we will communicate any updates throughout the spring season. Our goal is to have the turf field ready before the opening of the 2026-2027 school year.
Thank you for your support and your patience. Let’s build the turf field!
Sincerely,
Dr. Patricia Scott
Mr. William Gennaro
