Class of 2021 senior goodbye

Nathaniel+Gould

Even with this year being ruined by the coronavirus outbreak, I still enjoyed my senior year.
This year is probably where I made my best memories.

Starting the year off with being part of one of the only teams to play football through the pandemic and achieving what we achieved this year was just an honor to be a part of. We made history this year by beating New Hope and playing for a chance to win a state championship.

Having a senior role on the football team was fun as well. It was cool to have some of the players look up to me and ask for advice when they needed it. Another big accomplishment was signing to a college where I can play football; it’s always been a dream of mine to play at the college level. I also got to sign with a lot of my teammates who are like brothers to me and that was a huge part of my decision process when I was figuring out where I would eventually land. It was a great experience at signing day watching everyone with their families being happy as we prepare for the next step.

I’m going to miss the Carroll moments and people the most. With me transferring my sophomore year not knowing
anyone and instantly being taken in like family, I knew was my home. And I owe a lot to the guys because without them, I wouldn’t be who I am today, on the field and off the field.

I hope we have a reunion party so I can see what everyone is up to in 20+ years. I have high hopes for everyone in my grade, so they better come through. Glad I can say I made the best out of the time I had here at Archbishop Carroll.
