Ally Mastripolito

Class of 2021 senior goodbye

Ally+Mastripolito

Saying that the past four years here at Carroll have been the best years of my life would be an understatement. The memories and friendships I have made here, I will forever cherish and are moments I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Some of my favorite things I’ve gotten to be apart of over the years were THON, Best Buddies, NAHS, Harlan, ACTS, track and field, and the bocce team.

THON was something I can proudly say I’ve participated in all four years here at Carroll, and will also be something that impacts my life when I think back on it. From dancing all night with my friends, to raising money to help those dealing with illnesses, there was never a dull moment. Even after 12 hours in the Carroll gym, I left with a smile on my face and wouldn’t have hesitated to do it all over again the next day.

Best Buddies and the bocce team was another thing that not only impacted my life but taught me so many things. Getting to work hand and hand with the students of St. Katherine Day School was always such an amazing and fun experience, as we all know they are what makes Carroll so amazing.

My most favorite memory and the one that changed my life the most was being able to go to Harlan, Kentucky, with Father Spez and Mrs. Young. Getting to spend a week in a cabin with my fellow classmates and teachers and building houses for those in need not only helped me grow in my faith, but helped me build a personal relationship with myself and those on the trip. Spending all week phoneless, with no concept of time and with the questionable schedule that Spez set up, was and always will be the best thing to ever happen to me.

Carroll truly became my second home and will always hold a special place in my heart. Forever wishing we got to do the ‘Big Red Rumble’ one last time, Roll Pats!
